This fix work most of the time as several discord files running in the background become a cause of discord not opening mostly in windows 10.

Here you need to close all the discord files from the task manager, follow the steps

Click on the Details tab and then look for the discord. Right-click on it and choose End task, do the same for all the discord related files in the processes tab as well.

Once you are sure that discord has been completely closed, right-click on the discord icon and choose run as administrator.

Temporary files can cause a problem with software or windows and clearing temporary discord data can sometimes cure issues like discord not launching.

To delete the temporary files for programs and software on windows press Windows + R key to open the RUN box. Type %temp% and click on Ok.

A temporary folder will now come up, look for the Discord Crashes folder and delete it. I would rather recommend deleting all the folders by pressing Ctrl + A to select all and then press Shift + Del to permanently delete these files.

Once all the folders are deleted, repeat Fix 1.

Close discord app completely as instructed in Fix 1 and then follow the below steps.
