Here you need to close all the discord files from the task manager, follow the steps
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc key to bring the task manager or simply right-click on the taskbar and choose task manager.
Click on the Details tab and then look for the discord. Right-click on it and choose End task, do the same for all the discord related files in the processes tab as well.
Once you are sure that discord has been completely closed, right-click on the discord icon and choose run as administrator.
